This exposure to nature shaped his artistic sensibilities. He pursued formal education in art, earning degrees in Fine Arts and Participating in various diploma and certificate programs.
Sanu’s artistic career began in Bhagalpur, where he honed his skills in Sculpture, Painting, Handicrafts and digital art. In 2016, he founded Kalabindu, which has grown into a respected platform for showcasing traditional and modern art forms. Kalabindu promotes artworks like Manjusha art, terracotta, sculptures, and block printing while embracing digital art.
Today, Sanu focuses on bridging traditional and modern art forms and uses his art for social change. He began his schooling in NHPC Rangit Nagar, Sikkim and later enrolled in multiple schools, including those affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). His academic journey continued in various institutions, culminating in a Diploma in Fine Arts from Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University (TMBU) Sabour collage – BSC ,& a 2 year diploma in kalakendra. and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) & Master of fine arts (MFA) degree from Indira Kala Sangeet University, (IFA) Varanasi. His early education in art was enriched by his diploma and certificate courses in diverse artistic disciplines, including a certificate course from Upendra Maharathi Crafts Research Centre and a diploma from Pracheen Kala Kendra in Chandigarh.
