Description The painting depicts two men working by a body of water, possibly a river or lake. Both men are wearing white dhotis and yellow turbans. One man is standing on the shore, holding a long pole or oar connected to a boat. The other man is in the water, pushing or pulling the boat. There’s a large blue circle with intricate patterns superimposed over the center of the painting. Two wicker baskets are placed on the shore in front of the men. In the background, there are small houses with red roofs on either side of the water, surrounded by trees under a blue sky.
